Well I was underneath the apple tree
diggin for a worm
and just one look at the farmer's daughter
made me squirm
She had a worm stuck on a fish hook
speaking in tongues
and I felt like a frog on a fish farm
with water in my lungs
And then I heard her say
"Ha! Look at you!
What happened to your clothes?"
I said "Clothes? What clothes?"
I never wanted to walk on water
I never wanted to learn to hop and crawl
I didn't covet the farmer's daughter
I never wanted to be a frog at all
Now the farmer keeps his daughter safe
guards her like a hawk
When I saw him pointin that finger at me
it was no time to talk
And Sir Isaac couldn't help me out
All he could say was "duck"
And he handed me a bottle of apple juice
and wished me luck
Thanks
The last thing I heard was the farmer yell
"You slimy little frog!
Take my daughter and my apple juice
and don't come around my farm no more"
I never wanted to walk on water
I never wanted to learn to hop and crawl
I didn't covet the farmer's daughter
I never wanted to be a frog at all
